Follow up on New Beginnings

Wow what support we have!

We just love all of you!

Thank you!

I just wanted to share this with you.

After I posted “New Beginnings”, I left Chesapeake to head back to Belle Grove. Brett and I had been at the plantation on Saturday, but I needed to take him back to Chesapeake so he could work while I got things done at the plantation this week. It also give me time to see the kids and Hurley. It was a really nice Easter for all of us!

As I was driving back, I was already working on that agenda running through my head. As I came up Route 17 into Gloucester, Virginia, I had to stop at a traffic light. On the corner of that intersection is a church. We have seen this church many times as we have driven to and from Belle Grove. It is a nice church with a message board sign out front.

It was what was on this sign that got me……

The message read:

“Stop Doubting… Believe”

Now I don’t know if you believe in things like this, but to me it was a message straight from God for me.

My return reply:

“Message received!”

So lets get this thing done!

I have absolutely had this happen when I’ve been praying fervently for guidance. Once, on my way to DC a car pulled in front of me and the license plate said PRAY ON. Just what I needed to hear!

  3. I totally agree! He works in mysterious ways.

  4. I’m going to take that as a message, too. My long held goal was not a B & B, but to publish a novel. And I published mine yesterday. I got up this morning doubting its success, too. But this tells me we are all going to succeed.
